Yes, always. Your pediatrician provides the exam, immunizations, in-person developmental surveillance, and treatment. Natal's providers write for you and, for add-ons, authorize lab orders; they do not examine your child or serve as primary care. Keep every well visit, and share what you learn from Natal freely.

Natal labs go beyond routine labs with a deeper look at the biological building blocks that support development. Our annual panel looks beyond standard screening to assess key markers of metabolic health, inflammation, thyroid function, and micronutrient status, helping families understand what may be happening beneath the surface as their child grows and develops.
Routine bloodwork is rarely ordered at well visits, so for most families the real comparison is a structured panel versus no labs at all. When standard labs run, they're read against population ranges built to flag disease. Natal's ranges are calibrated for optimal pediatric function and banded to your child's age, so a result that reads "normal" elsewhere but sits in a functional insufficiency zone is surfaced for you.
Every marker is labeled Optimal or Attention against Natal's age-banded ranges. Attention flags a result outside the optimal range, which may still sit within a standard lab's normal range and is separate from a diagnosis. Discuss all results with your child's provider.
